The product, in the report: fuel burner. wave burner

My partner and I were on our deck with a gel fuel fire pot (sold at bed bath and beyond) between us. the flame was getting very low so I, [REDACTED1], poured some more gel fuel in the candle and it exploded on my partner, [REDACTED2]. This caused a flash explosion and the gel fuel burst out and coagulated on her body. I told her to drop and roll but it was like when one fire stopped, another would start. I could not get it out for awhile! She went to the ER and spent the night in the hospital. She suffered severe second degree burns to 13% of her body, mainly her left thigh. I have read the NY times article and agree that this is a fairly new product to the market and the dangers and risks are NOT adequately displayed to the consumer. If i would have known that this is basically an EXPLOSIVE device, we would never have purchased the product. The product this involves is the exact product described in the NY times article sold at Bed Bath and Beyond.
