  1. No one hurt

Made Dec 19, 2022, sent to the company Mar 7, 2023, published by CPSC Mar 21, 2023

The product, in the report: smart heater

(12/07/2022) The box for the heater indicates that the heater has tip-over protection. The consumer tipped the heater over to put it to the test and check for safety. However, the heater kept heating and running.

The consumer returned the product to the place of purchase and asked for a manager. The manager tested three heaters that were on the shelves. None of the heater that were tested cut off when tipped over. The manager removed all of the heaters form the shelves.

The consumer contacted the manufacturer and reported the safety issue. However, he was advised that there was nothing that they could do for him because he did not have a serial number for the product.
