The product, in the report: HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM

2000 we built a home. We installed a heat recovery system HRV by BRYANT. The system worked for about 3 years, we notice it was running all the time and it did not work right with the wall control.

    (1) 2004 We called a heating guy out, was the same one that installed the system, the board in the HRV was bad and had a burnt spot on it. He check out all controls and replaced board, it worked fine for two years.

    (2) 2006 We notice again it was not working, this time we called the wholesaler and Venmar in Canada about the problem along with pictures; All Air put that board in. He checked all controls everything good.

    (3) 2008 We had the same problem and again we put this board in. We pulled out all controls to check is there was a short; everything was clean.

    (4) 2009 Again the unit was not operating by the control. We again talked to the distributors also Venmar they sent me a recall part to have installed on the motor by the heating guy and a new board. T and T Heating did the work. I shipped the board to Venmar for inspection, did not hear from them for a year, we called them and they had no information for me. Our home is very tight and needs the HRV to bring in fresh air, again the part went.

    (5) The system worked for just over a year and now has quit working. We are stump on this Bryant HRV, have called T and T Heating to come out, they are avoiding us…small town only a few heating guys here, have no faith in them. I had electrical out to check my box...everything clean, I am suspecting something is causing the board to blow, could it be motor, I think we replaced that a wild back. The place where the board was seem very warm. I am calling Venmar in morning, my concern is the air quality and the tightness in home also possibly fire. If you can give me any info I would appreciate it.
