The product, in the report: Portable Buddy propane space heater
Saturday, November 17th, 2012 while caller was in his deer blind and just after he changed the propane then lit the portable heater being used he heard what sounded like a mini explosion. He looked down and saw that the propane heater was on fire with the flames being small but hot enough not to catch him afire. He grabbed the heater and threw it out to the blind then stepped out and poured his coffee over the fire to put it out.
If he had not been right in front of the fire or the heater had actually exploded he could have been burned severely. He is reporting this product as a fire hazard.
He has not contacted the manufacturer but does intend to contact them.
