The product, in the report: NewAir G73 Electric Garage Heater - Safe and Reliable Heat for 500 Sq Ft

On two different occasions, I have had two different heaters of the same model not turn off and run for hours and days until the heat in my garage was well over 100 degrees. On each occasion the thermostat failed and the overheat function did not work. The heaters required they be turned off at the breaker box. The first occurrence was in 2015 with my original purchase. Both the manufacturer and place of purchase advised they would look into the issue and replace my unit. The replacement unit after 4 years did the same thing. This heater is extremely dangerous and can easily cause a fire. With the 2nd occurrence, I contacted both the distributor and the manufacture. The distributor has yet to respond and the manufacturer blew me off. The unit is the NewAir G73 Electric Garage Heater.
