Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Infrared Heater

Purchased BioSmart infrared heater in October 2011. Unit became very noisy during operation. Company did not return phone calls. Fan stopped working on the unit, which causes unit to not cool properly and melting occurs. I am concerned this should be a recall fron the manufacturer. The company does not answer call. Has repeatedly not returned calls. We have shipped the unit at our cost, which we want refunded, 116.00 to have it repaired. Our major concern is that item should be recalled as I have researched that the same problem has happened with other purchasers. Concerned about the safety of the product.
