The product, in the report: Kenmore Air and Heat Unit, white in color, 230 volt, 18500 BTU cooling and 16000 BTU heating.
I have a Kenmore air and heat unit. The control panel shorted out and caught the inside of the unit on fire and the unit was not even running at the time and had not been running for several days, it was plugged into the electrical outlet and off. My father in law has the same unit and the control panel on his smoked and Sears had to replace the control panel. Mine did more than smoke, it ignited the inside of the unit in the middle of the night and almost killed me and my wife. These units have a defective control panels and they are shorting out and causing fires.
