The product, in the report: Bathroom vent fan
I purchased a Hampton Bay (which appears to be HomeDepot’s store brand) ventilation fan, Model #BPT18-34A-1
The included quick connect spicing connectors are a fire hazard. When I received the unit, one of these connectors was falling off the internal cable and couldn’t be put back on. I tried the other one which when in use, heated up and partially melted before I shut the fan off. I tossed these garbage connectors and used tried and true quality wire nuts instead. This is typical poor quality Chinese manufacturing, with Home Depot putting profits over safety.
