The product, in the report: Fried rich piece theories through wall, air conditioner/heating unit. Model number kevf16b33a. With 16200BTUs
I have two friedrich P series through the wall air conditioner/heater unit. Model numbers kevf16b33a PN 619-522-03. These air conditioners are hazardous. Ive lived in the apartment for over five years now located at [REDACTED]. The Units are owned by the [REDACTED]. My air conditioners have been repaired three times. The panels crack very easily. The air conditioners switch automatically from heat or to the air conditioner. And one of my air conditioners started leaking and the air conditioner unit did not automatically shut off my unit had to be removed from the wall and there was minimal damage caused to the borders of the wall. My rug was Very saturated in water. Im not sure if its the [REDACTED] that caused and Im large amount of liquid or if it is water. The maintenance removed my AC unit and replaced it. He said that there was only one air conditioner unit left and they cannot purchase any more at the time. At this time I did not know that there were recalls and manufacture issues. This is very dangerous due to fire hazards with the unit switching automatically from hot to cold overheating. These also can cause a serious amount of slipping falls, and these devices should have an automatic shut off once something has been with about proper water pan sensors or inlet and outlet filtration. I do have about three work orders, but I had to request by the property and I have pictures of the water damage. These issues happened from November of 2019 to 07-7-2025. These AC units can be taken out of my wall and sent back to the manufacture for testing if needed.
