Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Summer Necessities, Neckband Fan, Hand’s Free, USB White Amazon listing of item (where I purchased): [REDACTED]

Item (Summer Necessities Neckband Fan) was opened and immediately charged. After charging for a few hours we noticed an odd smell and found that the plastic on the item was melting. Thankfully, we caught this quickly.

When I went to write a review, I found another recent review (written after I purchased the item) that this situation happened to someone else.

This item is a fire hazard and should be recalled.
