First aid Made Sep 21, 2026, sent to the company Sep 24, 2026, published by CPSC Oct 8, 2026
The product, in the report: Omni breeze Tower fan white
My 3 year old was running by and her hair got sucked into the omni breeze fan. It completely ripped out about a half dollar size of hair down to the scalp. The fan was on osilate and I couldn’t get her head away from the fan. I had to apply ice and ointment. She was crying for about ten minutes. Now the fan won’t blow any air.

Hurt, care not known Made Jul 28, 2026, sent to the company Jul 31, 2026, published by CPSC Aug 14, 2026
The product, in the report: OmniBreeze Tower Fan with Internal Oscillation and WiFi. It is white and made of plastic with a black oscillating fan and display panel. The model number is DC2313R and sold at Costco. It is (W x L x H): 10.31 in. x 10.31 in. x 38 in. in size. It weighs 7.69lbs, 53 watts, 120V 60Hz, and Made in China.
I am reporting a dangerous issue with the Omnibreeze Tower Fan with internal Oscillation and Wi-Fi (Model DC2313R sold at Costco. My toddler was simply standing in front of the fan a few inches away when the fan sucked in her hair rapidly and caused it to wind around the motor tearing a large chunk of her hair out. We have a few of these fans to cool the rooms in our home and now are forced to discard them due to this safety hazard. I have never seen or known of a tower fan sucking in anything like this.
