The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Rechargable stroller fan

The lithium battery in a rechargable stroller fan exploded in our house and caught on fire. Luckily nobody was injured and the product was in a bassinet which we were able to remove from the house before serious damage was done. The product was not in use or charging. If we were not able to remove the product or if it was in use with our infant child, it could have killed someone or burnt our house down.
