    To whom it may concern

This device was purchased for me by some one else at a Home Depot store. I had no receipt and I did not install this right away due to several delays and re -prioritizing issues.

Upon opening package, it was missing the remote which I had to purchase from the manufacturer, then I installed it as per instructions however it did not turn on for a while then one day it turned on by it’s self and would not turn off until I turned off the circuit breaker.. I contact the manufacturer who went through a routine to attempt to resolve the problem.

After two or three calls they refused to discuss this further with me at all, I asked for an equitable resolution and for the return of the purchase money for the remote and this dangerous product. Total cost is approximate $235.00.

It is my position that this device was known to be a safety hazard and potential fire hazard by the manufacturer.

I also assert that the retailer (Home Depot) is responsible for the “Safety” of the products it sells, it should have known or did know.

I am sure many were returned to the store perhaps one of the reasons was for what I explained above.

The last thing the manufacturer told me was that this product was being discontinued.

As I said before this thing is dangerous and these two parties most likely knew it and both continued to pass on the product to consumer.

Their dangerous behavior should not be tolerated and they should not go on their merry way for what they did so I must strongly suggest your agency impose a hefty fine to act as a deterrent against future schemes to sell such products.

The last thing I did was discuss this with Home Depot who washed their hands of it and referred me back to the manufacturer.

Consumers are entitled to safe products on the U.S market. · Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.

    Sincerely

    [REDACTED]
