The product, in the report: Dyson Cool fan floor column style silver color

Fan was on, a popping sound was heard. My husband took it out onto the deck. We heard another pop, went out to the deck to see the fan in flames. Since it was not plugged in, we used a garden hose to put out the fire.

The product, in the report: Dyson hot + cool It is a combo fan/heater/cooler

Last night this Dyson Hot + Cool fan product got an error message of H2 and it would NOT shut off manually. I had to unplug it. I later looked it up and there was a recall on the product but my model did not come up as included. Am worried that maybe this one has the same issue with causing a fire.
