We have 2 black and decker 16-inch stand fan with remote That the blade guards disintegrated upon touching guard. Weird I must say one was on screen porch other was in laundry room. Plastic back guard just designated into little piece a day apart. About year old. I am sure this is a safety issue for all adults and children as little plastic pieces flew every were slight nick for me. Blade broke on one of them too. Should be recalled immediately.
