  1. No one hurt

The product, in the report: Allen + Roth Santa Ana ceiling fan model # LP8150LBN, Item # 0357002.

On December 16, 2020 my husband, friend and I were sitting in the kitchen getting ready to plate dinner to sit down and eat and our Santa Ana ceiling fan bulb exploded and broke the glass dome and all of the glass exploded over the table we were about to sit on. The bulb was bright red, burning on our cloth on the table as well before it finally burned out and melted. The fan was not on, just the light. We were very lucky it didn’t happen 5 minutes later when we would have been sitting there, as one of us would have been terribly injured. Luckily there were no kids and our cats were upstairs, otherwise they could have been seriously injured. It seems there was a design flaw with the light bulb that was provided when the fan was bought. Also, there is nothing in the manual with a warning of the glass breaking if the bulb explodes.
