The product, in the report: Air Innovations Adjustable Fan With Remote Control and Whirl Cool Technology model number Al-4000 sold by Air Innovations

This is cheap dangerous junk from China. Subject to catch on fire, lasts only a few days. Very dangerous item that will harm you if operated Model number Al-4000 date code JJ/01/28

the motor started smoking and we unplugged the cord. The fan is so cheaply made that I was afraid that we would have a fire. The problem was that the fan seized up and would not turn, so the motor overheated and started smoking. This is made in China with the cheapest components available. They should be removed from the market. Interesting, since I complained to the Company “Air Innovations .tv” has pulled some sales of this items from amazon and ebay. They are still for sale at different locations. We only had this fan new in the box for less than 10 days. I hope this information will prevent a tragedy to a family that may leave this fan on and be asleep or not at home.
