Purchased From Lowe’s Home Improvement Store
I installed above fuel line and shutoff valve on an MTD 8HP snowblower with a Tecumseh engine. I used the clamps supplied with the kit to secure the fuel line to the gas tank as well as to secure the fuel line to the shutoff valve. I test ran the engine and did not detect any leaks. About 1 week after the test the fuel line came disconnected from the fuel tank with the clamp still on the fuel line. This caused about 3/4 gallon of gasoline to leak onto my garage floor and seep under a wall and enter my basement. This created a fume as well as a potential fire hazard. In my opinion, the supplied clamps are not strong enough to adequately secure the fuel hose to any connections made.
