The product, in the report: Efield 1/2” brass nipple 5 pack

Purchased Efield 1/2 brass nipple 5 pack from Amazon for extending the water line in the kitchen . When the fittings arrived in a resealable bag with only a sticker on it. Something didn’t feel right so i tested the fittings with lead test swabs and i came up positive. After that i tested the valve i purchased. The valve was in commercial packaging like you would buy at the hardware store. It was negative for lead. I returned to Amazon through their customer service phone line to let them know what happened and asked what their actions to investigate/correct this would be and the lady i spoke with said that the product would be removed from the website until it could be investigated. I checked a couple of hours later and it was still available. It leaves me to believe that they told it will be taken care of and actually did nothing. The manufacturer is in China. With a warehouse in socal. I tried to contact them at (626)723-4065 no answer and mailbox full. Efield USA Inc 16281 Gale Ave, City of Industry
