The product, in the report: Home Heating System
The consumer indicates that he was checking the vent of his home heating system and as soon as he propped the vent open, a prong revealed and lacerated his left thumb. The consumer states that it took his thumb approximately one week to heal itself after he placed a bandage on it.
The consumer states that prior to the date of the incident, the unit was used approximately everyday during the Fall, Winter and Spring months.
The consumer is unsure if he will have the unit for the next thirty days. The consumer believes there is a structural flaw in the design of the product as even though he was careful, he was still injured since there were no warning labels.
