The product, in the report: wood burning stove
The consumer noticed that when opening the door there are two pins on the tract and after continuous use of the door being opened and closed the pin on the hinge has eased up and the door has is detaching from the track.
The consumer looked at the owner’s manual where they list the parts it shows a push pin that prevents the pin from maneuvering and causing the door to detach.
The firm was contacted on 12/13/2011 and the representative by the name of [REDACTED] advised him that they would not provide him with any information on the push pins and he declined sending any out for the consumer.
The consumer then went into the retailer where the representative that the consumer spoke with offered him a push pin.
The consumer’s concerns were that if you were trying to open the door and it detaches and the wood burning stove is in use at that time someone could possibly suffer a burn hazard.
