The product, in the report: Wood Stove 235097
The consumer indicates that his wood stove started smoking.
The consumer contacted his warranty company, Vermont Stoveworks, and a Service Technician was dispatched to inspect his unit. Upon inspection, the Service Technician indicated that the unit had two cracks: one back of the door that opens in the front about two inches long, and another crack across the face of the stove about six inches long. The consumer asked if the unit could be welded but the Service Technician indicated that this would only make it crack in other parts, and that the two cracks already on their would continue to become bigger.
The consumer states that the unit is used daily for approximately four to six hours each use.
The consumer is unsure if he will keep the wooden stove for at least the next thirty days.
