The product, in the report: Wood Stove
Caller stated that the new design of the wood stove is a feature for fire hazard. The door on the unit that should be able to open and close to moderate the temperature of the stove now has holes which causes oxygen to filtrate while in operation, this causes a high temperature which can lead to a fire.
11/8/14 While in use she was unable to turn the wood stove down so it stayed on high and the temperature of her house was at 96 degrees for approximately 3 hours until the wood burnt out.
11/18/14 The manufacturer was contacted and she informed that the EPA should be contacted because they mandated the design of the stove and that there was nothing that they could do to assist her.
