Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: AZ28E12DABM3 GE Zoneline® Deluxe Series Cooling and Electric Heat Unit

On Sept 1st 2015 I was awakened by someone who lives in my condo at 6am that my balcony was on fire. I stayed to try to put the fire out before the Fireman came. It destroyed by entire balcony. After investigation by Dr. Hvac they could not find out how the fire started just that it possibly overheated... The breaker or whatever emergency back up shut off was bypassed somehow. The model isn’t this one I think its the AZ28E07DAB GE Zoneline® Deluxe Series Cooling and Electric Heat Unit if I am not mistaken with the knobs. I was accused by my management company for starting the fire which is a complete joke. If you would like pictures I can send them so you can tell what machine it is.
