The product, in the report: Wall mounted heat pump / AC
We installed a Frigidaire wall-mounted heat pump/AC in September 2013. The unit has worked well, up until today when it malfunctioned and exploded. The exterior of the unit ripped open, and the compressor was ejected into the yard. Frigidaire position is that since the unit is out of warranty, they aren’t going to do anything and don’t care what caused this dangerous malfunction.
