The product, in the report: Bladeless Air Conditioner and Heater

The consumer indicates that during the past few days, she has noticed a subtle burning smell in her home however she could not locate its source. The consumer’s son inspected her bladeless air conditioner and heater and noticed that the area where the air comes out of has started to warp, and other parts have started to melt also. The consumer noticed that the fan no longer blow air. The consumer has ceased use of the unit immediately.

The consumer contacted the Manufacturer and explained the situation. The representative she spoke with informed her that they could not assist her because the unit was no longer warrantied and they had no service shops near her home that could repair it. The consumer was offered a twenty percent discount towards the purchase of a new unit however the consumer turned this offer down.

The consumer indicates that the unit is used every day for twenty-four hours, at a temperature of 32 degrees Fahrenheit during the Summer and 99 degrees Fahrenheit during the Winter.

The consumer plans on keeping her bladeless air conditioner and heater for at least the next thirty days in case an investigation ensues.
