No one hurt Made Jan 27, 2022, sent to the company Feb 1, 2022, published by CPSC Feb 15, 2022
The product, in the report: Infrared radiant heater 120 V Amos 12.5 Maximum power 1500 Watts Cord length 72 inch MODEL BY1201 Distributed by Ningo Konwin Electrical Appliance Co LTD. Ningbo China 315315
Purchased a Konwin infrared radiant heater from Walmart for purpose of use as a space heater for home. The product requires assembly of two plastic legs that fits as a base of heater. Basically the owners manual and picture on product box has the plastic legs reversed. Meaning if one was to follow product picture or owner’s manual one may inadvertently fit the plastic legs incorrectly which caused the space heater to slightly tilt forward which could overheat flooring area that can ignite in fire. Note: there is only one way the plastic leg base supposed to fit. The owner’s manual and picture of assembled product on boxing is incorrect.

The product, in the report: Konwin Small-Room Fan Indoor Heater White 1500W FH-173
I purchased a Konwin Small-Room Fan Indoor Heater White 1500W FH-173 from Target.com. As soon as I turned it on for the first time, it started to smoke, and within five seconds, caught on fire. I put out the fire with an extinguisher and suffered a sore throat and lungs from the smoke.
