The product, in the report: Knifun anion ptc ceramic heater model ym-01 ac 110 v-110v Power 1200w Made in china Color white with silver mesh type metal cover on front.
I had the heater plugged in in a hrounded outlet and set on the carpet in the middle of the livingroom. The heater was on for approximately 15 minutes when I smelled something funny. I went to check the heater was still running and hot. The plastic was melting on the backnof the unit. The heater was upright qith nothing near it.
