The product, in the report: Intertek HA22-48M1 Air Heater. It is red, with a built-in fan, thermast, metal case with handle on top, 220vac.
I have been using a Intertek HA22-48M1 Air Heater in my shop for a couple years. Today, I saw a very bright white flash inside it and the circuit breaker tripped. Upon inspection, I can see a hole in the heating tube the looks melted. After “[REDACTED]” the model for assistance, I see where it has been recalled. I was not aware until now. No one was injured... Just surprised when it happened.

The product, in the report: GD Midea Environment Appliances Mfg. Co., Ltd. Intertek - Tower Ceramic Heater Model# NT15-13L 18714032 3068797
This portable electric heater is less than one year old, and has been used occasionally in one of our bedrooms. This morning my son heard some sputtering from the heater, and then saw smoke coming from the heater. Immediately after seeing these symptoms, he saw a small fire inside the heater. He immediately unplugged the heater and extinguished the fire simply by blowing it out. Upon further examination it was observed that wires inside the heater had melted and caught fire.
