The product, in the report: Dr Infarred Heater Model 968
I have a DR Heater Model 968 that was purchased in 2018 from Amazon. On Nov 16th 2025 while using the unit my wife and myself smelled a electrical burning smell and a small amount of Smoke coming from the unit. Some of the wiring inside burned. This seems to be a common issue. Others on Amazon & [REDACTED] have reported the same thing with photos in reviews that have occurred in the past 2 months. I have the unit but it is pieces because i had to take it apart to find out what the issue was.
