The product, in the report: “Cozy Products CT Cozy Toes Carpeted Foot Warming Heater for Under Desks” This is an electric carpet that sits below a desk and warms your feet.

“Cozy Products CT Cozy Toes Carpeted Foot Warming Heater for Under Desks “ was operating under my feet under my desk when it got too warm. Ultimately it started burning and had a black market on the top and bottom of the product and burned my carpeting that was under the “Cozy Toes” product. This created a black mark on my carpet and a bad smell.

I unplugged the product and there were no injuries, but the risk of a fire seems clear to me.
