  1. No one hurt

Made Jul 30, 2023, sent to the company Aug 1, 2023, published by CPSC Aug 15, 2023

The product, in the report: Cadet Wall Heater, White, Model CS202, 9”x12”, 9T43 Air Heater, 240/208 Volts, 8.3/7.2 Amps,2000/1500 Watts

My Cadet heater model CS202 has burn marks from overheating. I had a home inspection done before purchasing my condo and the inspector noted in his inspection report the following: The wall mounted forced air heater in the living room was found to get too hot when tested and is a potential fire/burn hazard. Replacement of this heater is needed for safe use and function. When I unscrewed the heater panel to view the model number for possible recall replacement (per previous recall of Cadet heaters), I saw the multiple burn marks on the grill, indicating proof of fire hazard.
