The product, in the report: Woodland Direct fireplace kingsman model ZRB46 zero clearance DV linear gas fireplace. Voluntary recall 22 April 2019 in Canada.
Purchased a gas fireplace when remodeling. after installation and inspection the fireplace was turned on for one hour. The plaster work above the fireplace was damaged. Had it replaced and it was damaged again. When I called the manufactured in Canada they immediate said that this model was recalled and runs hot, they said to contact the distributor. No response from the distributor and taking them to court. Anyway the unit is defective and why the units were not recalled in the US is frustrating.
