The product, in the report: 2019 BRP Can Am Outlander XT 1000 ATV red in color

I was riding my 2019 CanAm Outlander XT 1000 up in the Fish Lake National Forest Utah .These are ATV trails that run all through that area. It was over a period of several days. Starting on July 14th 2020. After the first few hours I notice extreme heat coming from the left side where the engine cover is. It became so bad that my leg starting getting very red, I had no choice but ride since we were way out in the wilderness from our camp.By the end of the day my leg had small blisters that were very painful. No matter where I put my leg I could not get away from the heat.I took pictures. The second problem I had was the burning and melting of a left rear shock part called a bump stop, this keeps the shock from bottoming out internally so not to damage it. Now that the bump stop is melted there is nothing to keep the shock from damage. This could lead to a shock failure and the possible loss of control. No stock ATV should be melting any part. the exhaust runs way to close to the shock with no type of shielding .I have since done some research on the internet and found that this is a problem on most BRP Can Am ATV’s going back years. I have also took pictures of this
