The product, in the report: Marian Plast Jumbo Slide with water

We purchased a Slide from Wal-Mart. It is a Plastic slide, a Marian Plast 587 Jumbo Slide with water connection. It was put together as per their instructions. The slide has a weight limit at 110 lbs. A 7 year old child was the first to use it. She went down it at a speed which we thought was a little too fast. When she hit the second part of the slide she went airbourne and came off the slide about 4-5 inches. When she finally mader contact with the slide again it was at the very end of the slide. She slammed her butt at the end of the slide very hard with her butt. The end of the slide even bounced when she hit it.

I feel this product is dangerous to the children it is made for. The speed in which the children get to is to fast considering the design of the slide. After the second hump in the slide the slide is to steep and too short which causes the child to go airbourne then slamming into the end of the slide. That then causes the child to suffer from needless pain and the jarring of the child’s backbone. I feel this could cause a child to sustain a back injury just playing on this slide
