  1. No one hurt

Made Jun 8, 2011, published by CPSC Aug 9, 2011

The product, in the report: a lady bug floating device for the pool

After placing her 15 month 22 pound toddler in the floating device inside a five feet deep pool the floating device flipped her forward and she went down into the pool. The toddler was placed in the floating device for about 10 seconds . The consumers husband was standing near her and grabbed her quickly.

After carefully looking at the product she noticed that the inner tube was very small but there were no ribs holes or tears where the float could have possibly deflated.

She contacted the retailer on 6/5/2011 and spoke with a representative (name unknown) who advised her to contact the CPSC and that they would also take the information and forward it to there Consumer Relations Department.

The product was returned to the retailer because she feared that her daughter could posiibly drown
