No one hurt Made Jan 6, 2025, sent to the company Jan 10, 2025, published by CPSC Jan 27, 2025
The product, in the report: Xterra 2500 treadmill
Xterra 2500 treadmill suddenly stops causing me to fall. Or won’t stop when I press the stop button and had to pull the safety cord. This has happened multiple times. They replace control board and it still happens.

No incident, no one hurt Made Dec 23, 2024, sent to the company Dec 30, 2024, published by CPSC Jan 17, 2025
The product, in the report: XTERRA Fitness WS200 WalkSlim Electric Treadmill Assembled dimensions - LxWxH: 61.9” L x 31” W x 45” H Folded dimensions: LxWxH: 62.7” L x 31” W x 6.2” H
I have the Xterra WS200 treadmill. The magnet on the safety key fell out of the plastic housing. Luckily, the treadmill was not in use, so no one was injured. However, if someone had fallen on the treadmill the safety key likely would have come apart and not stopped the treadmill as it is intended to do so. The magnet appeared to only be held in place by the plastic housing without any sort of adhesive.

Hurt, care not known Made Feb 7, 2019, sent to the company Feb 19, 2019, published by CPSC Mar 19, 2019
The product, in the report: the product is the xterra 6.6 treadmill as seen here https://www.fitnessfactoryoutlet.com/xterra-trail-racer-6-6-treadmill.html
XTERRA TREADMILL 6.6 is an treadmill offered for sale on https://www.xterrafitness.com/.
The incident occurred on 12/30/2018, I was using the product when the belt slipped, after which I quickly grabbed the handles but unfortunately twisted my right heel. I am an fit and healthy 27 year old male but I feel this treadmill is unsafe compared to other treadmills I used.
The XTERRA TREADMILL 6.6 is unsafe because the design of the treadmill is completely different from other treadmills I used. The XTERRA TREADMILL 6.6 does not use bolts or screws to tighten the side-rails of its treadmill, making the XTERRA belt unsafe and un-maintainable.
I had reached out to XTERRA several times regarding this the latest being 01/23/2019 and they promised to fix their mistake but I have since not heard from them.
