Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: TRX Professional Suspension Trainer

I own a TRX Professional Suspension Trainer. One of the adjustment buckles failed while I was using it causing me to fall to the floor abruptly, injuring my back in the process.

I was unaware of this recall, and contacted TRX Customer Service to ask about the cost of replacing the buckle. I informed them that I have had it for a long time and did not remember where I purchased it. They responded with a request for photographs of my suspension trainer which I provided, but that has been over a week ago and they have not responded to my inquiries since that time.

They never informed me that the device was subject to a recall and are quite obviously more concerned that someone may have a fake TRX than they are with repairing their poorly designed and/or manufactured product.

During the 10 days since my initial inquiry, I was made aware of this recall by a friend. TRX Customer Service should have informed me of the recall, but failed to do so.

The individual who responded on behalf of TRX is [REDACTED] and the reference number on the return e-mail from TRX is [REDACTED]
