No one hurt Made May 16, 2023, sent to the company May 17, 2023, published by CPSC Jun 1, 2023
The product, in the report: TechnoGym MyRun treadmill - with the console manufactured after Aug / Sep 2022.
The product is TechnoGym MyRun treadmill. While in operation and running at high or any speed, if you touch the console, a static discharge causes the treadmill to suddenly halt. Tech support acknowledges knowing about this problem since end of 2022 but has no definite timeline to fix it. While we have not suffered an injury yet, this is only a matter of time for users using the treadmill. When it comes to a sudden stop, the user has a high likelihood of falling and injuring themselves.
