    The product, in the report: Sperax walking pad. It is a black treadmill and has the screen at the front of the walking pad. There are two red stripes on either side of the treadmill belt. The cord comes out from the front and has a on button on the front side of the treadmill. There is a metal bar handle that can come up. The metal bar handle has a red safety magnet in the center that people can attach to their clothing so that the treadmill stops if they fall.

    I used the Sperax Walking Pad and the belt on the treadmill would jump and skip, which caused me and my roommate to fall off the walking pad multiple times. I injured my knee one time and my elbow another time. We were using the walking pad as directed in the manual. We also used the lubricant that Sperax provided to us on the treadmill in an attempt to solve the issue but it still skips and caused my to fall, injuring my elbow.

    The product, in the report: It’s a sperax walking/running machine that fold up for storage. The model number is Q2f sorry I didn’t write the model number correctly in the last page. It has a red on and off button and a power cord. It is black with red stripes along the side rails. It also has a part that goes up and down that makes storage easy to compact it. It doesn’t have an incline but does have a safety wire that if you fall and have it attached it will shut off but I have never used it as I find it too short and you have to go right up to the front foldable bar in order for it to not disconnect from you. It has a screen that shows your speed, time and calories and it comes with a remote control if you don’t want to use the controls on the bar.

    I own a sperax treadmill, I bought it in 2024 but didn’t start using it until 2026. I used it a few times probably like 10 times and noticed it would kinda stop for a millisecond and then the belt would keep going. It shut off on me a couple times and I stopped using it after that. I was injured and had a crushed toe going under it as the speed changed on me and then stopped and I fell off the back as my toe slipped under the end of the belt and now my toe is bruised and my nail is falling off. The model number is Qtf. I was trying to figure out why it shut off and checked the cord where it connects to the machine and it would turn on and off and that’s what happened when I fell off it. I wasn’t running on it just a brisk walk at 3.4 speed. I don’t use it for more than an hour at a time.

    I have a Sperax Walking pad (I bought two, one for myself one for my parents). It has been defective ever since I bought it 8 months ago- the belt randomly stops or skips so that you trip and fall. Just toady, I was walking at a 2.2 speed and it stopped and I fell off the walking pad and slammed my hand into the wall. This is a serious safety hazard. Ever since I have had these issues I wrote to the manufacturer and they don’t respond to any emails. Their website doesn’t exist anymore.

    The belt seems to skip/trip whenever using the product at a higher speed than 3.0MPH. It’s advertised to be about to allow jogging up to 6.0MPH. Everytime I try to jog, it trips me but luckily I have not fall out.

    My friend who stayed at my home started getting foot pain after using the walking pad for 30+mins multiple times a day.

    The product has also tripped the power in the room/electrical outlet that it was plugged into and small sparks came out before it went out. We do not use the product now because I’m scared it will trip the power/spark again.

    I was walking on my “Walking Pad” when it had stopped suddenly, sending me forward and into my desk where I had grabbed myself to try and catch my weight, spraining my wrist. I was using the Sperax Walking Pad I had bought off of Amazon in mid 2024. I had been using the product a few times a week casually, with only a few minor issues. The product was being used as directed, well under the weight limit at 240 lbs. A minor wrist sprain was the only injury, I used it, took some over the counter pain relievers, and hadn’t used the Walking Pad since.

    The product, in the report: Unfortunately, the listing has been removed from Amazon, so I do not have too many specific details. However, it is a foldable Sperax walking pad with a handle bar. It is black with red trim.

    I have been using my Sperax walking pad (Model: Q2F) regularly for the last couple months. In that time, I have applied oil to the belt and not used it on carpet ( I have a silicone mat under the pad). When using the product, it smells like something is burning after even just 5 minutes of walking on it. The weight limit is allegedly 320 pounds and I am well below that. When turning it off, I notice the belt is very warm and the motor is also making a noise that does not feel normal. I turned to google for some troubleshooting as to why there is a burning smell and the motor noise. After seeing the report from other models and another nearly identical to mine (the Sperax Pro), I wanted to report my experience as this may be for Sperax models more broadly. I am worried about the pad catching fire with the burning smell I notice. The most recent occurrence was today (7/15/26) but it has happened several other times between May 2026 and present.

    I was using my Sperax walking pad in my home at speed setting 2. While I was walking, the belt unexpectedly felt like it sped up or slipped forward even though the display continued to show speed 2. I initially thought my legs were getting tired or that I may have over-lubricated the walking pad, causing the belt to slip. However, I lost my footing and was thrown backward off the walking pad into a box behind me. I sustained a cut on my thigh and bruising from the impact. After the incident, I stopped using the walking pad because I no longer felt it was safe. After seeing the CPSC warning describing reports of unexpected speed changes, I believe my experience may have been related.

    I am reporting this product in connection with the CPSC’s April 2026 public warning regarding Sperax walking pads and treadmills (models Pro, Q1, RM-01, RM-02), which cites risks of sudden speed changes, abrupt stops, falls, overheating, and fire hazards. While using the walking pad, it suddenly stopped without warning, causing me to fall. The unit also overheated, which resulted in a burn injury to my hand. I attempted to seek a refund through Amazon, which denied the request and stated the product is safe, despite the CPSC’s public warning. The importer has refused to agree to a recall. Was anyone injured? Yes. I sustained a burn to my hand from the unit overheating, and fell when the pad suddenly stopped.

    Incident Description

    My mother purchased this walking pad through Amazon during the summer of 2025.

    From the beginning, every member of our family who used the walking pad experienced the same problem. The users included:

    Whenever the walking pad was operated at anything above a very slow walking speed, it would unexpectedly cause the user to be thrown sideways, resulting in loss of balance and near falls. This occurred repeatedly and affected multiple people of different ages and sizes. Because the problem was consistent across several users, we do not believe it was due to user error.

    My husband also experienced the walking pad overheating on multiple occasions during normal use. The overheating continued even after I stopped using the unit as a treadmill. I began using only the vibration plate function because I no longer considered it safe to walk on. Despite no longer using the treadmill function, the unit continued to overheat during operation.

    Because of the repeated instability and overheating, I advised my mother to stop using the product before we received Amazons safety notification.

    Fortunately, no one in our family sustained injuries requiring emergency medical treatment. However, each event created a significant risk of a serious fall. I have experienced ongoing right hip and right knee pain. I cannot state that these symptoms were caused by the walking pad, but they developed after using the product and experiencing these repeated instability events, so I believe they should be documented.

    After receiving Amazons safety notice and learning that the CPSC warned consumers to stop using this product because of fall, burn, and fire hazards, our familys experience closely matched the hazards described in the warning.

    My issue is with the Sperax Walking Pad. My son was walking on this treadmill at a slow speed. We were slowly increasing the speed to where he would be walking at a normal pace. The belt switched directions, rapidly, multiple times before coming to a complete stop and showing an error code. My son fell into my desk by the sudden disruption. He endured only minor pains from the fall into my desk and ground. No major injuries.     The Sperax HHSD-001 treadmill experienced a catastrophic malfunction during a standard exercise session that resulted in a dangerous fall. While my wife was using the walking pad at a slight incline, the belt came to a sudden and instantaneous stop without any manual input or buttons being pressed. This uncommanded stop caused a violent jerking motion that threw her off the side of the machine, leading to physical soreness and muscle strain. Fortunately, she did not sustain more serious injuries, but the unpredictable nature of this electronic or mechanical failure has rendered the equipment unsafe for further use. This incident represents a significant safety hazard, as the Sperax HHSD-001 failed to maintain a consistent speed, creating an immediate risk to the operator.

    I own a Sperax Q1 walking pad. It worked fine the first few months of owning it. Over time, I noticed gaps on the sides as the pieces began to separate. Additionally, if used for more than 30 or so minutes I would began to smell a burning order. I followed the guide for maintained and lubricated the board, but it continued to run extremely hot and the burning rubber smell persisted. Also, the move belt would jerk at times causing me to fall off occasionally.

    I purchased the Sperax walking pad from Amazon 7/24 Model number Q1. I havent really used this item until recently and was walking in my bare feet when I noticed how hot the tread part became after only 10-15 mins. I have mine sitting on carpet and I am concerned it could potentially cause a fire because of the heat that comes from underneath it.
