The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made Jul 28, 2026, sent to the company Aug 12, 2026, published by CPSC Aug 26, 2026

The product, in the report: The “Series 8 Fitness Multi-Loop Stretch Strap”, is sold at Five Below stores and comes in pink. It consists of 2 pieces of synthetic woven fabric that are stitched together at regular intervals to aid in different levels of stretching control.

I was doing a leg stretch with my right leg in the air while laying on my back when the stitching on the band tore, and I almost punched myself in the face with extreme force. The purpose of a non-elastic stretch band is so that your body can apply intense pressure to get a proper stretch. The problem is that the $5, non-elastic, pink stretch band acquired from Five Below is designed and manufactured so poorly that I am able to break every seam with just my two hands and very little effort.
