The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. Emergency room

Made Mar 24, 2021, sent to the company May 3, 2021, published by CPSC May 17, 2021

The product, in the report: Power Play Move Vibrating platform (2-1/2’ wide)

The machine was set to a vibration level of 4. She planned to do a standing exercise and set the machine to level 5. The consumer was stepping off of the machine (1 foot was on the ground and one foot was on the machine), when she fell. The machine was still moving at the time and there was no handle sold with her machine. The machine has a remote, but the consumer did not have it. She said she was holding straps that came with the machine. The straps connect to the machine and can be held in consumer’s hands.

The consumer landed on a slate floor and broke her left wrist, tailbone, sustained whiplash and a possible concussion.

The consumer’s husband took her to a near by ER. X-rays were taken, along with CT-scans and pain medication was administered. The medical staff did not feel that surgery was needed at that time, but they are still taking that position under consideration. She was released a couple hours later, on the same day.

Approximately, 3/4/2021, the consumer contacted the firm through their contact us portal. However, the consumer said that a “competitor, [REDACTED]” contacted her and explained why this occurred.

The consumer later made a call to the manufacturer and they sent her some information to fill out and return. She sent the information back to the firm on 3/21/2021 or 3/22/2021, and is waiting for a further response.
