The product, in the report: LifeSpan Fitness TR1200i folding treadmill

We purchased a LifeSpan Fitness TR1200i folding treadmill 2 years ago from Amazon.com and this product presents a safety hazard from a defective speed sensor and the manufacturer claims it is a belt issue though the screen reports an issue with the speed sensor, rendering it completely unusable. An “E1” error message displays and unit stops abruptly, not gradually, calling their displayed toll-free number where no one answers and no return phone calls.

This unit also speeds up on its own at random that can be dangerous at higher speeds. I have proof of this issue on video. Several times we contacted LifeSpan support per the screen error message and they never responded. Only after I filed a complaint with LifeSpan Fitness Corporate did I finally get a reply.

This unit with its random speed increases renders this as a hazardous product and unusable with is no method to report this hazard to Amazon.com.

We seek a full refund for a product we purchased from Amazon.com that is hazardous and completely unusable.
