The product, in the report: Landice L8-24357-Executive Treadmill from fitness Depot- cost $5665.65

4mos. after purchase date treadmill shuts down unexpectedly, suddenly loses all power without warning, it has thrown me off, cause my neck and back to jerk really hard, causing pain and swelling. The very last time I used it I could smell a burning scent coming from underneath, I have left it unplugged since that date 12-26-15, I notified Landice repeatedly starting 9-30-14 thru 1-21-16, I have asked three times of them to pick up the treadmill and issue me a refund, they have refuse each time. I told them I had me a refund, they have refused each time. I told them I had not been able to use this product as intended because it is dangerous as I had neck and back surgery Feb/2007, the treadmill was recommended by my doctor, but it continues to lose power and is a health risk to me and a possible fire hazard. I notified Landice and explain my concern; he told me he would not issue a refund.

The product, in the report: Landice L7 Executive

I purchased a used Landice Executive L7 Treadmill for $2,000 in 2007. It was a year old when we purchased it. This is a very robust and durable treadmill that we have installed in our 2nd home. We rent our vacation house to guests and use it ourselves occasionally. So the Treadmill gets usage, but not often.

About 2 months ago when I used the machine after a workout, I turned it OFF and after a few seconds it continued to run. It would not stop. It runs very slowly. The only way to stop it is to unplug it from the wall.

I called Landice and they seemed to know immediately what the problem was. They said that since I bought it used it would NOT be covered for Warranty. It turned out from the repairman, they recommended, that the repair would cost close to a $1,000 to replace the main circuit board.

I have young children and would like to report this problem in that with the machine suddenly runs, when one expects the machine to Stop.

One could slip and fall or a child could get severely hurt.
