First aid Made Jul 19, 2020, sent to the company Aug 3, 2020, published by CPSC Aug 17, 2020
The product, in the report: The product is 5 colored bands of different tensions which have clips at both ends that can be attached to handles or leg cuffs plus an attachment that can be used to hook the bands over the top of a closed door. ALPHABAND PRO V2 RESISTANCE SET
I bought a set of exercise resistance cables and after normal use, several of the bands began to break. The set includes an attachment for inserting the cables over the top of a closed door, and that attachment broke when the cables were attached, causing them to snap back with full force into my partner’s chest. The company, when contacted, said they had improved their product and offered to send the new product instead of a refund. I accepted. The same issue occurred after less than 10 uses with new cables, this time causing a more serious blow to the head that drew blood.
