  1. Hurt, care not known

Made Jul 8, 2026, sent to the company Aug 11, 2026, published by CPSC Aug 25, 2026

The product, in the report: Assemble-Free Foldable Weight Bench Press for Home Gym, 660 LBS Capacity Incline Decline, Sit-up Bench for Full-Body Strength Training

Subject: Bench Structural Failure Resulting in Neck Injury and Product Safety Concerns Incident Date: July 7th, 2026

While the bench was being used as intended, the back portion of the unit suddenly broke and collapsed. This structural failure caused the user to sustain a neck injury. The user is requesting a full refund and is urging the company to issue a product recall due to safety risks.

During normal use, the bench’s back support failed without warning. The back portion detached or fell, causing the user to be injured in the neck. This failure indicates a potential structural defect in the design or manufacturing of the bench. The user reports that the product presents a significant risk of injury to others and believes the defect may affect additional units of the same model.

The bench’s back support structure failed during normal use. The failure directly resulted in a neck injury. The defect appears to be related to either poor construction, weak materials, or inadequate load capacity. The product may pose a broader safety risk to other consumers.

A full refund of the purchase price. A formal review of the product’s design and manufacturing quality. A recall of the bench model to prevent further injuries.

The bench’s structural failure presents a significant safety hazard. The user sustained an injury as a direct result of the defect and is requesting corrective action from the manufacturer, including a refund and consideration of a product recall.
