The product, in the report: Recumbent Bike
My son was operating the recumbent (stationary) bike from Diamond Fitness Model 510Sr when suddenly he couldn’t pedal anymore due to an increased resistance. He stopped using the bike, and then the smoke started coming out of the control panel. I disconnected the power right away and moved the unit outside of the house. After approximately 10 minutes the smoke stopped. This appeared to be a serious fire hazard.
I’ve purchased the unit brand new in 2017.
I’ve reported the incident to Diamond Fitness on 04/06/2020 online but haven’t heard back from them yet.
