The product, in the report: Purchased on Amazon: allviate Adjustable Dumbbell Set, 55LB Adjust Dumbbells, Single or Pair Dumbbell Weights, 5 in 1 Free Weight Dumbbell with Anti-Slip Handle, Perfect for Home Gym Exercise Equipment (55 pound pair). It looks like they do not sell the 55lb pair anymore.
We had a very scary incident on Thursday, August 28th that posed a very serious safety risk. We’ve used the ALLVIATE Adjustable Dumbbell Set, 55LB Adjust Dumbbells, Pair Dumbbell Weights, 5 in 1 Free Weight Dumbbell with Anti-Slip Handle, purchased on Amazon, since January of this year without a problem, but on that day, as my husband was using the set as he usually does doing a chest press with the full 55lbs on each hand, all the disks on one of them fell out nearly crushing his head and chest. As he has with almost daily use, my husband was (and has been) careful to align the dot mark of the triangular weight selection mark before picking up the dumbbell. We took photos. Our 2 year old daughter was nearby, but gratefully out of harms way. This truly could have caused severe injuries to my husband and my daughter. Tiles were broken as well.
