Ulua Swim Goggles (from Over Under Fun)

On June 5, 2025, while my 8-year-old daughter was swimming underwater, the lens of her Ulua goggles suddenly shattered directly on her face, cutting her nose. This was an extremely dangerous incident that could have caused serious eye or facial injury. The goggles appear to use glass or glass-like lenses, which should not be used in products meant for underwater or child use.

Even more troubling, this is the second pair of Ulua goggles Ive owned that have shattered. The first incident occurred last summer (2024) when my son was holding a pair of the same model and they shattered in his hands he was thankfully outside the pool and not injured.

This is now a repeat failure involving two separate products from the same brand, and in one case, it resulted in an actual injury to a child. These goggles are unsafe.
