No incident, no one hurt Made Jul 9, 2025, sent to the company Jul 14, 2025, published by CPSC Jul 28, 2025
The product, in the report: Asiwo Swimming Kickboard Electirc, Swim Training Kickboard 3 Speed Water Sports Swimming Pool Board for Adults Kids (Green)
I purchased an Asiwo electric kickboard at the end of March 2025. This particular board has a battery that you detach to plug-in to charge. This past weekend, my son was using the board and it was time to recharge the battery. I took the battery out, dried it off, and plugged it into the wall for charging. A few minutes later, the battery completely started on fire. Smoke filled the entire home. All of the fire alarms went off on all three levels and sent an automatic call to the [REDACTED] fire department in Wisconsin. When this fire occurred, we were minutes away from all, leaving the home to go on a boat ride on the lake. Had this fire started any later, I am fairly certain it wouldve burned this house down.
